She Was Full Of Salami, Now She's Full Of Regrets...Uh Oh!

This guy misses one of the more interesting aspect of the Matt Lauer situation, which shows the difference between what men and women want out of a relationship. Women are definitely not interested in men, men are definitely interested in women. This is layered even more when we talk about high quality women and women that think they're high quality. Matt wanted sex, he wanted women; women wanted advancement, material wealth, status, access. See the difference? For men it's about women and sex, for women it's about power and wealth. The man doesn't matter.

Now apply this to your relationships: In a woman's eyes you are an interchangeable player, she doesn't care about you. Your assets, what you give her, the material aspects, those are what matter to her. Meanwhile for you it's all about her: Making her happy, getting access to her, etc.

The other nail sticking out on this was Matt being the guy that 'took advantage'; no, he really didn't. In fact I'd suggest he was taken advantage of. He could have said no, of course, and he cold have distanced himself from these younger women. I'm also not saying he's a hero in all of this. What I am saying is that these women seized an opportunity to advance their career, and coach points out that some of them accomplished this. For these women sex is a commodity to be traded, but if they can get a trade that not only benefits them, but puts a high position man under the sword of Damocles in their hands, they've won twofold. Matt got himself caught in many traps because his thirst won out over his reason, but for these women to be victims of anything is crazy. They exploited him for cash and prizes and ultimately ruined him for playing. Meanwhile they get victim points, support, and accolades by the masses for toppling the tyrant that played their game of commodity trading.
