I once saw a show, about the financial aspects of armed robberies and crime like that in general.
AND I think it was made by the BBC. AND oddly enough it was fact based and without sensationalising anything.
AND what they did was to present armed robberies / bank heists as a business with risks and risk assessments and as a financial process for the gaining of wealth.
It was pretty honest and quite a good education.
The general thrust was that doing armed robberies / bank heists - was an extremely high risk venture, at every stage, with everyone making money off of your bullshit and basically you end up with your head on the chopping block, with almost inevitable capture, prison time, and getting robbed and murdered along the way yourself - and for fuck all money.
Really - if you want low money for lots of hours, buying a bicycle and doing a paper round will pay better than a bank heist.

Why?
Easy Money = Difficult Consequences.
Stupid Shit = Stupid Outcomes.
