This is an interesting thing.

If I had of never had any idea about this song, it's context, it's purpose, what it was linked too, and didn't understand the language, and only heard the audio, I'd be saying, "This is very cheerful up beat song. Was it New Romantic from the 80's? Is it a brisk and invigorating waltz dancing song?" - etc.

And if I find out a lot more about it, should I then condemn it and self censor it?

Nope it's a great song.

And because I enjoy it - if only a couple of times, doesn't mean I endorse or condemn it as a song, because of any of the multitude of issues surround it.

You know there is all sorts of ideas - from indoctrination to love Adolf Hitler and the whole Nazi Party show, and then there is the indoctrination to go into a fiery rage at the mere mention of "Adolf Hitler and the Nazis".

I don't have to buy into either sentiment.

I can just enjoy the song - minus all the ideology and the assorted advocates of them.
