A tantrum will usually stop when the child gets what s/he wants, changes his/her tactics, or when we respond differently to how we usually respond. A meltdown will usually continue even after s/he gets what s/he wants because, in many cases, the child does not even know what s/he wants.

Elements if your "Meltdown" are well founded. All living creatures operate to maximize their individual existence. Femons default mechanism to this end is the tried and true methods of Extraction/Extortion. Women love themselves and nothing else, but will appear/pretend to be benevolent if and only if it directly or indirectly serves the greater purpose of maximizing their existence. We might wish to take a step back and look at this from a 300,000 year viewpoint (evolutionary biology) that we should be careful not to hold those who exhibit routine survival strategies in total contempt, yet to keep those ones at a safe distance. "Don't swim in shark infested waters". Sharks are only exhibiting survival strategies that have worked for 60 million years, and should not be held in contempt as such. "Don't get pissed, get pragmatic..."

A femon's "wants", change with the wind. They have no idea what they want, except what (or whom) they can't have: Chadrone. Yeah, they try to compensate with Gucci bags (or facsimiles thereof) of which they get bored, even after many of them pile up in their closets like toys in a chest; their careers, which they hate after a couple of years, or fancy cars, of which NONE can tuck them into bed, nor hold them throughout the night; like the strong, pseudo loving arms... of Chadrone. JMO. Lol.

they want the power the femon courts allow to destroy you cos they are weak and without nothing unless the judiciary/government help them............ wonder if the laws are different on the isle of MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
