damn dude, when i was playing this back in the day, i was always quick saving, it didn't matter how many times i played through a mission, i always saved multiple times during the mission.
i haven't seen you save once during this mission. your surely a pro like the dudes who play the old thief games when they do the ghosting of the entire mission without saving.

the music in this game was always gripping, but in many cases i always ended up turning it off because it was way to distracting and often made me less able to handle the job with a clear mindset.

it's funny, but i miss the light gem in thief or the thing on Sam's back that would indicate you when in the darkness, and the other meters on the right side of the screen that would show sound and lighting level in real time.
in later splinter cell games they use a filter that makes the screen show another spectrum that takes out all color so you know your in the dark and makes things black and white and if your seen, it will create a temporary ghost of where you were last seen.
which don't get me wrong it was a cool feature, as it reduced the amount of things from the UI on the screen which made for better gameplay viewing for the player.
it's something i wished skyrim had when you play as a thief, but obviously that game wasn't meant to be played that way, which causes you to download mods for that type of gameplay. light level exists in skyrim, but it's almost never used this way because of all the other things this game has built-in as a full package.
