Technology Is Wonderful

Required to have a "Smart" phone, so I can be tracked. I'm an over the road Trucker. The shipper, broker and my own company want to know where I'm at 24/7. When I retire, no tech except a wood stove and flint.

I have one rule with TECH. If the name or title contains the Word "SMART" I avoid it like the plague. My old trusty Nokia is what is called a DUMB phone and I'm happy with that and my Landline thanks!

I've seen people freak out literally because they mislaid their phone that these day's contains their pointless pathetic lives in every detail! lol! My secrets not that I have any remain in my head! lol! If there comes a time when you can get your phone implanted in you head they will probably offer pregnent femons an injection to preplasnt a phone in bay's head before it's even born?

Yep my old (Emergency) Nokia is beside me right now I think it is called a C20 or something like that? great little phone.l I only use it as pau and go to take out with me, rarely even use or turn it on anymore, but I call my own land line once a month to keep the sim working. it's tiny has a camera and video recorder on it and text and all the other crap but it will fit in small pocket unlike the Slab's we have to day (well I don't)! I'm kinda reverting back so far to about the mid 70's with exception to this PC! Which I think is a 2006 HP, does what i want though? I'm hoping to revert back to drum;'s and smoke signals eventually! Hate Tech it imprison's you?

The only Wind Up Phones you can get today is in the Contract you sign for that Smartphone! lol! Yep I remember Spud Gun's, Air Rifle's (we had an old Diana air rifle), Home made Catapult's Blow pipes made from a BIC pen case or sleeve. Using an old roller skate and a plank of wood to make Skateboards, huh1 bet the kid's today don't know we had their transport years or decades before them! lol!
