TFM Clip - Men Are Resentful Because They Were Lied To

8:17 At about this point TFM goes into why men become resentful .... he's so right , maybe even understating it a bit. I can only speak for myself but that was almost exactly what happened to me. My (single) mother, grandparents, teachers and adults in general told me to work hard, be reliable, to respect women and all that bullshit. In my early teens I knew they were wrong but because it was literally everyone telling me the same things I spent most of my teenage years very confused and in doubt.

"It can't be that absolutely everyone is wrong but me. That's what crazy or stupid people think and I'm neither, which means I must be the one that's wrong." ...... was what I would constantly think. However, like other men I saw that women all around me kept rejecting & punishing men for doing what they were supposed to do and rewarding men that didn't. I grew slightly resentful but I got my first (real) girlfriend in my late teens so I stopped thinking about it. Then another girl and another, purely through luck. If I hadn't lucked into relationships then I would probably have been like the guy he mentioned. Bitter and resentful as fuck.

Here's the kicker though, the women I went out with went out with me because as a result of extremely contrived circumstances each of those women saw me as an abusive jackass that thought they were worthless trash. Not only are men misinformed, they're taught to do the literal opposite of what they should do to get the result they want and I've noticed it's even worse these days.

Men are not just given misinformation, they are deliberately sabotaged and actively set up to fail which is much worse than TFM says. It's incredible that more men aren't lashing out after realizing it.
