Nietzsche actually answer the last question. He said yes! It's not only worth it, as it is so intended by design. He believed the society exists to forge the fire and the dragon that allow men to transcend into the uber mensch.
Reality doesn't exist to the benefit of the few, but to be the journey to create the VERY FEW that reach the child stage. They are the ones that drive humanity forward.

That last question, what if the majority of males are "Bob"? I believe they are. We can add this to a long & distinguished list of reasons why this society should no longer exist. Red pill everyone. The ones who emerge strong & free should not feel any remorse or guilt for the Bobs.
This society never cared about me. This society only saw value in me as far as how society can use me, then discard me when I'm no longer of use. How exactly am I supposed to feel any sympathy for the Bobs?
