Most of you already know my story. I was a software developer for pretty much of my life. Although I succeed at this, I did not find excellence in anything I was doing.

I felt I needed more. I felt I was not at my full potential.

After this I realized I needed to go the extra mile. And this is when things started to change: as soon as I realized how important social skills are.

A lot of you think that technical skills are the only things that matter. However, being good at technical skills is not the only important thing.

Mani, for example, was an engineer for his whole life. After he was laid off, he soon realized he was definitely doing something wrong. He realized that he lacked the social skills needed for team work, for example.

He felt he was the best in the room. He felt he was better than everyone.

Learning only technical stuff will only lead you to a certain way in your career. The things you do after that is what will really define your path in life.
