The intent of this video is to discuss the devastating effect the German 20mm autocannons had on US Bombers in WWII. The Germans adopted Mg151 20mm autocannons firing the high explosive mine rounds. It took 20 to 25 strikes of this projectile to destroy a heavy bomber. Annotated combat footage showing the destructive power of the 20mm high explosive mine projectile is shown at the end of the video. Video features the BF109, FW190, P47, B17 and B24 airframes.
