King James took over northern ireland causing the flight of the Earls,, circa ~1605.. transplanted mostly Scots from along the northhern border wall with scotland,, called Hadrians wall.. some english also. .into northern ireland to raise sheep for wool.. These people were protestant scots.. This is what has caused the strife between the catholics ,, and the scots, , STEALING THEIR LANDS! THAT WAS ENGLAND'S FIRST COLONY!! northern ireland.. They brought many thousands,, of these protestant scots from ireland to America from 1705 - 1775.. they are known today as American Scotch Irish.. Scots who had lived in Ireland for 100 years before coming to America..
