He didn't give me a topic so I wanted to do a bit of a selfish video today trying to understand my psychology better and all this started when I saw that the group that has an 80% divorce rate are couples where one of the two members of that couple has aspergers or are mildly on the spectrum. I thought about why that happens and considering that I myself am on the spectrum I can understand women's point of view when a man they are involved with is on the spectrum. If you have Asperger's syndrome or are on the spectrum it's like the entire world is moving too quickly and your brain is unable to process unpredictable information, ie language and social cues quickly enough. So you get overwhelmed and maybe break eye contact with people. This was covered in part on the Lex Friedman Autism podcast. He explains that he's got AS as well. But just because you're bad with unpredictable information doesn't mean you're not good with predictable information and things that don't change. That's why I enjoy talking about human nature day after day after day. Because it doesn't change. They are very NPC like in nature. Whereas guys tend to be far more varied and unpredictable in their behavior. This idea of sensory overload is also part of it. Whenever I travel to a city I like predictable and consistent places that have a similar look and feel from one street to the next. Think Miami, San Francisco, Paris, Venice or the latest city I found like that Chester UK. But getting back to why guys with AS are more likely to get divorced it's because being socially awkward means a woman has a hard time parading you at cocktail parties and social events because you make her look bad with your cold body language and seemingly strange behavior. You're also a lot less likely to have empathy for her and know when you messed up by saying something she sees as hurtful. To her you look like an insensitive bastard but you have no idea what just happened. I'm sure a holes could claim they are on the spectrum and use that as an excuse for their abusive behavior. My point is that most women tend to fit into a nice neat predictable box when it comes to behavior. As a man the further you get away from that box the more she tends to get agitated for some reason. Don't ask me why because I'm mildly autistic. One advantage of being this way is that in the past when I would get into relationships because I would generally work part-time I would obsess over every detail about my partner. People with AS would become subject masters in one or two things. So by focusing on them I would give them more attention than anyone else before. This would be something they never received before from other guys. So it would overcompensate for any and all social awkwardness. Combined with that I'm also a very visual thinker. For the most part I think in picture partially because I find it faster than thinking in words and languges. I also know I'm on the spectrum because I'm comfortable doing the same thing day in and day out for ten years. That's one of the reasons I haven't gone crazy eating the same meal everyday for the last five years and I'd feel perfectly fine eating that way for the rest of my life. I would be very surprised if Sandman was visual thinker because visual thinkers have higher pitched voices and speak very quickly because they are trying to describe all the pictures in their minds.
Just by going off of Sandman's voice I'd have to say he's more auditory dominant than visual dominant.
Everyone uses visual, auditory, and kinesthetic methods of processing the world but we ALL have one we favor over the others. Just like we use our left hands for certain things like catching a baseball, steering the car, and typing even though we are right handed.
Auditory people have a very clear voice and speak slowly and clearly enunciating every word carefully.
Kinesthetic people tend to speak even slower and have lower voices and might even slur words.
Just like there are people who are ambidextrous there are people that are multiple processors but that is very rare.

I'm also a visual thinker but I have a deep baritone voice, nowhere near the squeaky territory. :D but unlike Sandman I really suck at translating the mental images to words. software development was easy because the language there is constrained, while you can easily visualize the tasks. (I don't do it anymore due to burnout.)

@havok545: no, I'm told I speak a little slower than average, and my voice is quite flat, even for a Hungarian.

@csehszlovakze: common mistake Bandler's data on this is pretty solid I thought I was visual as well at first when you do a deep dive into the science you'll find you're either auditor or visual. You have to remember we ALL us ALL of the modes some of the time but we have a favorite just like we favor one hand over the other.

@havok545: except the only thing my audio "processor" is good for is music, nothing else. for example, I have a really hard time learning and remembering things from sound, but once I can put it in my visual memory it's pretty much there forever.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), about 1% of the world's population has autism spectrum disorder – over 75,000,000 people. That may be a large number, but autism spectrum disorder (ASD) features a wide range of symptoms and levels of severity. Source: https://www.cdc.gov/ncbddd/autism/data.html

Yeah, CDC, the epitome of credibility.. Waited over a year before revealing the Scamdemic jab (ScamJab for short) was affecting people in a negative way (murdering) more than they helped. Brought to you by (((Pfizer))).

Here's a thought. How about we're ALL part of a larger "spectrum", since the Creator doesn't make mistakes. The "spectrum" He created is enough to cover the vast expanses of His ever expanding Universe. Plenty of room for everyone. WE, are the Spectrum. Just a thought.

or maybe it's not the Creator's fault but the Adversary's (jabs, pesticides etc.)

@csehszlovakze: JMO, but the Adversary can't take a dump (metaphorically speaking) unless the Creator allows him. The book of Job gives me that impression. Yes, He allows us to suffer to help build our character (imo), and also to let us see that we can't live without His Strengthening us (Phil. 4:13, 19) to power through the adversity. Once again, JMO.
