The first move was made by the logistical policies of the USA by appropriating Zelensky via the Orange Revolution then integrating Ukraine into NATO thereby putting nuclear weapons on Russia's border. The first moves happened before any of this.

with your knowledge how would we be able to get back Russian, (RT in english), to get a balanced view? its bloody obvious the queer fascist prick in the ukranie is a puppet. no i'm western European, conservative but, sick of the complete bias we are getting when we are all in the knowledge of mericaland not wanting Cuba to store nukes. rather like Putin wants a buffer zone. i just want to be able to watch news from Russian perspective.

Russia has made a lot strategical and tactical mistakes so far . It would be extremely hard for them turn outcome positive. They got excited and blinded from previous success 2008 in Georgia and 2014 in Krimea and East-Ukraine. And of course a lot yes guys around Putin added own part on road to catastrophe. With two weeks Russia has lost 3 generals , that is a lot and when such high rank officers get killed then things are bad. In Afganistan Soviet Union lost too 3 generals two died copter crashes and one in illness and that was with 10 years not with two weeks. KIA's in Russian side is about 500 if you look Russian official numbers and over 13000 if you look Ukraine numbers and about 6000 when you believe USA intelligence estimation.But old Soviet time people say that if you put 0 in end on official data and you get more accurate result and according to that it is 5000 and math tells that case there is 15000 to 25000 wounded.
