+1000 on relationships for love being NEW and having an awful track record. People like to project their culture into the past. People didn't have our western conditioning before this love deception, they just recognized lust as lust, and they didn't spin stories in their heads about it. Marriage was about duty, it was like hiring a person, you cared about their ability to perform their respective role, not idiotic things like their looks. Looks were valued in PROSTITUTES!
