Back to work doing what? There are very few REAL JOBS to be had. The vast majority are junk jobs, service jobs, McJobs, gigs, hustles, rackets, and dead end jobs. Just because a job pays well doesn't mean it is productive, ethical, or useful in the macro economic sense. We'd have to go back to Smoke Stack America to find lots of REAL JOBS for the American people and that ain't gonna happen. We've lost all of the industrial habits and the New Deal social contract that made America's power in the 20th century possible. Paying people to do nothing is about as productive as some of the make believe jobs that many had been doing.

I didn't get a dime either and, fortunately, I've been gainfully employed the entire time during the plan-demic and I'm still gainfully employed. I agree about the truckers but, remember, they make money whether the country is growing or collapsing. Truckers hauled America's industrial power to the docks (outbound to the Corporate Promised Land of China) over the past 40+ years. Truckers haul the Chinese goods around the country. Ideally, we need to return to 1952 America but, the damage is too deep and we're in History's Hospice. Cause of death: Self inflicted and sepsis of the body-politic. All that's left to is for our Estate to prosecute and destroy the (((GUILTY))) who engineered our collapse over the past 70 years.
