1) crypto is the future of transactions
2) all crypto will be worthless
crypto will develop as competing global transaction systems that make profit by charging transaction fees. they will be privatized, they will be centralized (incorporated) and they will be regulated
the value added of crypto is strictly the distributed digital ledger technology. in fact, we should do away with the term cryptocurrency and start discussing how distributed digital ledger technology will transform transactions instead because that is what is happening now and will continue to happen in the future.
now, how this all plays out in terms of national currencies and loan creation remains to be seen, but all your bitcoins and ethereums and ripples and tokens and nfts will be worth absolutely zero when global distributed transaction systems roll out
