Problem is there's been welfare pretty much since forever. The ancient Romans had a grain dole for the plebs. When your ideology is extremely contray to human behavior defaults (ie communism), there's going to be a conveyor belt of bodies getting stacked that never ends, cause you can't kill a bad idea, just the person who holds it.

@OmegaMan99: as much as i recognize the corrosive nature of welfare, i dont see any viable alternatives. i have resigned myself to accepting the least corrosive welfare programs possible, as i think any wealthy society will inevitably have an incompetent underclass who cannot compete

@Darthtickles: Where America went wrong is delegating taking care of the extremely poor to the government instead of private sector charities and churches, leading to "We'll take care of you, just remember to vote for us".

Does TFM really believe that 67% of the United States (and the vast majority of many other countries) are going to die from the vaccine? That is just...utterly insane. Then he admits "not everyone will die from the vaccine" but 1 minute later he keeps going on talking about getting the vax as if it's a death sentence. TFM is losing it, I think.

I understand TFL’s anger. Whatever percentage it is it’s too fucking high for something that was supposed to help. Anger is the appropriate response to negligence at best and malice intent at worst.

We have no idea the effects of the vax will have over the next decade. We really have no clue. Vaers reports are higher than they've ever been and this stuff is being vastly underreported. Will it take out a huge swath of the population? I think it's unlikely but I do think there is an impact happening having perfectly healthy athletes dropping while clutching their chests or dying of heart attacks is certainly not good.
