The idea of having the whole town brutally murder criminals is a fun idea, not one I'm neccesarily against. But the idea it would reduce violent crime is retarded. I can see violent crime going way up, because ppl would get used to hurting ppl. If u just wanna have fun, and also have a more free society, frontier justice good. But if you want to justify it by claiming it would reduce crime, you're delusional, and just trying to find a societally acceptable excuse to satisfy your masculine urges to inflict pain.
In midievel Europe, homicide rates were at modern-day south American levels. And of course it was an environment with far more freedom and far less centralization. It was definitely a happier life for most ppl, (it'd be hard to be less happy than the way it is now in developed countries.) It's kind of a trade-off. More saftey or more freedom. I prefer freedom, I prefer to live. That's why i made friends with some homeless pieces of shit. They're the only ppl that would accept my autistic ass, but also their lifestyle is better than what I otherwise have. (Not saying much)
There's generally an inverse correlation with suicide rates and homicide rates. South Korea has an absurd number if suicides but no homicides. Jamaica has almost no suicides, but lots and lots of homicide. There are exceptions, but It seems men like to be violent. They loves it.
So do I. I knocked out a man on the first day when I started hanging with the homeless. It felt good. Got that out of my system. We are animals and that's that.
