1:20 Samson wasn't a Jew. Samson was an Israelite. Samson was circa 1200BC, in the times of the Judges, prior to Israel even naming their first King. Hundreds of years prior to Saul and David, which itself was hundreds of years prior to the word Jew even being uttered. My contention is that the Jews, in fact, derive from the Canaanites, and this is backed up by OT verses. Ezekiel 16:3, etc. Anyway, SAMSON was an ISRAELITE, not a JEW.
