How people treat you, your genetics, where you were born, your family are just a few things that are outside of your control, but GREATLY affect your life.⁠

There are many things we can INFLUENCE in life, but very few we can actually control.⁠

In fact, the only things we can actually control are our thoughts and our actions which stem from those thoughts, everything else is outside of our purview.⁠

All of these outside factors beyond our control, we can call fate—or fortune if you like.⁠
⁠
As we cannot control them, we must therefore ACCEPT them.⁠
⁠
This doesn't mean to not fight to change what we can and strive for greatness, but it means to accept what is and that which we cannot control.⁠

Yet, most of us CHOOSE not to accept reality. Instead, we complain about things we have no control over and foolishly try to change them.⁠

And this is the only truth in the world.
