when hyperinflation hits, your asset values that you saved for this moment will moon, this idea that you can't make any money by choosing to live a self sustaining lifestyle is pure bogus, there are remote jobs, there is asset trading, tfm happens to have one of these remote jobs, corporations will still exist, rule of law will be abandoned, you think some penny pincher will have the time to audit you from dc when tribal warlords will be doing drivebys on every block
you expect the collapsing government to have the time and resources to hunt you down in your remote homestead, when people will be cannibalizing each other in the streets, crime will be rampant, local rural governments will override the will of the feds, the feds will collapse, too big to fail is a misnomer, being big, bloated and stupid guarantees your failure
you absolutely can and should build a self sufficient homestead if you can, you think the elites don't have their bomb shelters and rural retreats for this exact situation
a cabin in alaska, on unzoned property is not an extremely expensive endeavor, depending on the property in question you can have all the lumber you need already there, there are tax free areas in alaska that still have access to power, cell service, and satellite internet, but I prefer the mainland for now, I think you can build the lifestyle even cheaper on the mainland, yea you might be 30 minutes from a walmart, but isn't that the point, we recognize that it is collapsing, personally I don't hold any stocks, all physical assets that will hold their value
just because the government, and some corporations collapse, that doesn't guarantee all corporations will collapse, corporations will form the new states
you say all the time when we collapse we will be free, but it seems you're stuck on civilization

How ironic is it that Tfm is talking about them not being afraid of dying in this instance being a negative but that’s exactly what he suggested in a previous stream to get rid of your fear of dying because you don’t really exist. Unbelievable, I’m sure he’s right though.
