Gen X has that 'middle child' thing going on and it works for us. The latchkey generation learned self reliance, social skills, and grew with internet based technology rather than ahead of it or dependent on it. Our women were feminine, our men were masculine, our ideologies were more grounded, and our politics were more rational.
Our largest problems came from boomers refusing to step aside and give us room to take the reins. The "Me Generation" still make it all about them, and they clash with the woke generation. Gen X, like the middle child we are, isn't really into the bickering.
