??? I took Chemistry in high school and always had trouble in balancing equations. I had trouble wrapping my mind around using moles as a measure. I just know to add acid to a larger quantity of diluent (never the other way around) and to be careful when mixing acids and bases. Practical everyday stuff I can handle.

@Lucifer333: The U.S. education system is absolutely horrible. It was officially in a crisis condition in the 1980's and today, it is a dead corpse and stinking up the place. We are riding solely on the momentum of past generations (Baby Boomers and prior) which enjoyed a quality public education. The waste of resources is just beyond belief and people are lured into certain vocations by idiotic affirmations via the media and mass entertainment. A lot of people have fallen into jobs they are ill equipped to do because they jobs they COULD HAVE HAD were offshored long ago. I'm all for doing vocational testing, arranged marriages, racial discrimination, and repeal of all civil rights laws enacted after 1964. Democracy and universal free choice are utter failures.

There were jobs for smart, middle, and low intelligence and everybody had a role in making what was on the shelves, on the road, on the water, and in the air. Hell, even the drifters could get a cash job in a warehouse pushing a broom, a diner washing dishes, or on a farm for a week or so, get paid, and move on. Now, you can't even give your time away because even volunteers get an anal cavity search as part of the "hiring" process!
