My motorcycle and various knives are also held together with torx. Even got a Torx key with the AK. Probably for the stock somewhere. Seeing it used more every year

Yeah when you see how lame the Allen Key / 6 point hex key is, in terms of gripping and depth of bite into restraining material - the Torx wins hands down. The Allen Keys are basically bullshit as a fastening system. https://upload.wikimedia.org/w....ikipedia/commons/thu

This is a nice guide on how to align that blade so it wont rub on the frame. Messing with the screws you adjusted can throw it out but easy to fix. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=knxdb8orZwQ

Oh yes and blue loctite on the litle screws also help to stop handle movement when making rapid uturns middle of the night.. these things can handle a wicked drop with only cosmetic damage

Turns out that when someone elses tyre went over it, the blade might have a bees dick of bend, but the body is dished inwards sort imperceptively if your not looking for it, and quite a lot when you know what to look for. Going to dismantle it tomorrow and straighten the bent side back out.

Otherwise people will think I am common and vulgar.

@clivemcd: Out of lock tight - but it is well cleaned by washing it in hot water and soap and a tooth brush and then dewatered with a water displacement spray and a shake and a dry and then lubed with sheep grease based metal protector, and then a good wipe over and into a dust / dirt resistant plastic lunch bag.... Going to strip, clean / degrease/, straighten, and then reassemble like a hand built watch....

@Life_N_Times_of_Shane_T_Hanson: Good luck with the project. Fun stuff. I've never been good at straightening things. First too little then too much.. never just enough.

@clivemcd: Well it's like fucking your wife in the arse for her first time - you gotta ease your way into it. ==== https://www.mgtow.tv/v/LbCoNc ====== https://www.mgtow.tv/v/1QEWNv ====== https://www.mgtow.tv/v/MjIG4T ====== https://www.mgtow.tv/v/LqxTFa ====== https://www.mgtow.tv/v/DICgxl ====

@clivemcd: A lot of things suck... but at least I showed the intiative to get off my arse and go and look for it in the early morning sun AND I found it, AND the damage is correctable... It won't come out of it absolutely perfect, only perfect. That is close enough. I have a few nice hammers to work it back into dead level and straight. I like hammers.. They are precision instruments. Rather partial to making good solid domed head rivets.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uBctd88yzPw
