This is fucking brilliant.....

"Our tiny little solar system has swung around the arm of the galaxy - through all the perils of all the shit going on - 17 times at 235 million years per orbit"

Fuck this can either be summed up with staggeringly simlified single points....

Or several hundred huge scientific papers jammed with enormous amounts of complex interrelated details....

It's the trouble with the original video that it needs to be seen in short sessions and all the details duly noted.... because I am picking up so many things... I don't remember seeing in the previous viewings.....

Not unusual... not by a long shot..

Missed out on that hydrogen and nitrogen based life forms, on planets where there are astronomically crushing pressures and the amount of hydrgen and nitrogen compounds under such conditions are far beyond what is formed by carbon and oxygen reactions...

God I am so fucking ignorant about so many things.....

Have you watched this - or is this an extract from this?

The History of the Universe https://www.mgtow.tv/v/GAnoXz

There is a bit in the middle of it somewhere about the same subject....

The universe - the size of the observed universe and the time scales are so fucking huge... that assuming that we could create some kind of wayyyyyyyy faster than light drive... the distances are so fucking huge and there is SO much space to get through, full of dust and atoms, and asprin sized shit that detonates like exploding planets when hit at 100 x the speed of light..

Have a squiz at these...

It's easy to understand - but there is Fucking way too much to understand and comprehend - in every sense - time, space, distance, amounts etc..

@NerokeFive: The Khan Academy stuff is brilliant - it's sort of so very basic, but it's presented so simply, with basic maths and lines with arrows and pictures in the videos etc... that you can easily take in the information, but it's beyond comprehension.... It's good to know and easy to understand, but when you try to think about just how HUGE the observed universe is and how much is in it, and the distances and the time scales - it's just far too much to get your head around.... it's just too big...
