But it is true, her money is her money, his money is also her money. Those primal instincts are there and cannot be ignored.
Another instinct is that most women need to a man to enforce boundaries; women will continuously try to see how far they can go until someone puts their foot down. If she has that role, she will get frustrated and exhausted, even if she needs to do it for herself. An emotional brain does not like to stop itself; emotions need to be expressed and validated, not stopped. Hence why women get so crisp when men invalidate or deny their feelings. This alone makes her unsuitable to enforce boundaries in a relationship.
