I find it fascinating composers were able to come up with music so remarkable in the past without the technology we have today. I have always liked Prokofiev, clearly a genius. They have done studies that when they played classical music at malls in america it reduced the crime. Some say the smartest humans that ever lived are already gone, our brains are shrinking, and the average iq around the world is falling, humans are de-evolving into an npc like creature. There may never been composers like this ever again. I try to get people to listen some classical music if I can motivate them, I don't know why there are so few listeners but it could be due to some of the reasons I just mentioned.
