AND without knowing his circumstances, maybe the idea of going out on a cold wet night - yeah it may have been doable, but maybe he felt like staying at home with a hot dinner and an early night... AND maybe he just shot her an SMS, because he was fucked and didn't want to call..... So without knowing all the facts, her grievance actually sounds legitimate. I fucking HATE getting stood up, not so much if it's legitimate and honest reasons... but I hate getting dropped in the shit because the other person is just plain lazy and disrespectful.... I'd give her the benefit of the doubt and say she is fair and reasonable - she is done up, and is going out on a date and the guy pulls this on her.... and she is reasonably pissed off about him pulling out like this... My idea is that the prospective datee, pulls out (without even a phone call) , the idea is to do a little digging and then if they show up to be decent or lazy and inconsiderate, then act according to the circumstances and then go out and enjoy a date with yourself...
