Trump Reportedly Wants to Purge the Bureaucracy if Elected

That said, IN THEORY, I'd be all for a massive purge of the bureaucracy. If Trump is elected and he has a GOP Congress, then the bureaucracy has no business thwarting him and the agenda he represents.

THAT SAID, the next question is: Who will he get to fill in the open jobs in the various bureaucracies? I have NO FAITH in Trump's people picking skills. ZERO. He surrounded himself in his first presidency with the worst (((SWAMP CREATURES))), sucked up to Israel and Netanyahu, sucked up to everybody who isn't White to get their votes, caved in on the (((COVID))) lies, showed astonishing ignorance of how things work in geopolitics, turned the Dept of Labor into a weapon against American workers, and tossed a few sorry crumbs to his base. He knows how to put on a good show and that's it.

The ONLY THING good I can say about Joe Biden is that he put in the right people to run the Dept of Labor. Thanks to 40+ years of predatory (((Reaganomics))), the DOL and the NLRB are the ONLY thing protecting us and their jurisdiction isn't very broad. I'd like to see the DOL operate as an independent agency that is insulated from GOP and Democrat meddling. It should get a new charter that is written to revive the spirit of the New Deal and would be more firmly obligated to serve domestic Labor, whether organized or not, and enforce Labor Rights. Absolutely nobody should be hired in the new DOL who once worked in salaried management, at any level, of a corporation. The head of the DOL should be a solid New Dealer and have a record of service to that end. Who would appoint the new DOL head? A proven caucus of Labor-friendly House reps. I'd say a quorum of 25 in the House would do the trick. They'll pick 2 or 3, send their recommendation up to the POTUS, he'll pick one from that group, and sign the papers.

We had high hopes for Trump in 2016. We CANNOT trust Trump this time.
