Ukrainian Army fully equipped ready to fight

Russians historically are good at the Long Game. Since Ukraine was part of Russia up to '91, many of them speak the same language. Putin wouldn't exactly win the hearts and minds of Ukrainians if he destroys their homes. Yet the Ukrainian president is handing out AK-47s to inexperienced civilians as cannon fodder, and a propaganda photo-op for the easily (emotionally) manipulated Western Media.
