After Joe Biden declared an energy emergency, the Pentagon has added fuel to the fire by saying China could undermine the country’s national security through Beijing’s control of global supplies of rare minerals, which are vital for American military electronics production.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Freedom over censorship, truth over narrative.
Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/RTnews
Follow us on Telegram: t.me/rtnews
Follow us on Twitter: https://twitter.com/RT_com

It's not the end of the world if the U.S. fucks itself and loses access to rare earth metals. Good ol' lead acid batteries built this country up and we'll just have to get learn to live with the limitations. There is still room for improvement on that old technology. Plus, it can be 100% sourced in the U.S. and 100% recyclable. Can't do that with lithium or other exotic materials. Look at how vulnerable we are with all the new cars and trucks that can't be finished because the domestic automakers can't get the computers for them.

We'll just have to devolve to retired and mature technologies that served us quite well in the past and with less complexity. By fiat and diktat, the EPA must be forced to back off and allow for the older stuff to be put back in service. In the late 1970's and early 1980's, the worst 80% of the air pollution emissions were handled without computers (or minimal computers) on new vehicles. New coal, oil, and gas power plants were a lot cleaner than the ones built a decade prior. IT'S GOOD ENOUGH.
