From there to the refineries and to the retail gas pumps, the oil changes many hands BUT, only modest markups occur. WHERE ARE THE BIG PRICE INCREASES HAPPENING? In fake countries, like Liberia, Panama, and Israel. The oil contract shows up at a desk and, wtih the stroke of a pen, the prices is JACKED UP. *WHY?* Because the taxes for crude oil in those fake countries is damn near ZERO. Massive capital gains and very little tax. Just enough to pay the cronies in office. The oil contract went into the offices of, say, Standard Oil or Shell at $30/barrel. It leaves at close to what the refineries are paying for it now. $100/barrel is very likely right now. The last few dollars happen after the refineries and the gas pumps. That way, Big Oil can Poor Mouth about how little profit per gallon they're making after the fuel leaves the refinery. (((THEY))) are very quiet about that giant price hike done in the shadows of non-countries set up for that very purpose.
