Corruption within sports governing bodies is all too well known. Players and spectators are the usual victim. Well, it's time to find a scapegoat.

@Johnny_Cage: Because the stake is high. So much has been invested in sport business. Japanese government is trying hard to run Tokyo 2020(1) despite the obvious statistics. https://www.reuters.com/world/....asia-pacific/japan-e

@hqwebsite: They're still trying to host that, despite all the money and time down the drain after it was cancelled last year? Dang, bruh; they must be hemorraging cash and resources like crazy. This COVID emergency shit will probably be revived or something new made up, and fuck up their Olympics again. China has enormous financial pull, so they must be delighted that Japan's 2020 preparations were wasted, and many billions down the drain. That might have been part of the reason for the China Virus "pandemic" release in the first place: to ruin a large and prestigous economic event for Japan. Maybe I'm reaching, but something tells me was a factor.

@hqwebsite: That has cost the Japanese dearly. Then they got angry and closed their borders, and rightfully so. I'd do the same thing in retaliation.

@Johnny_Cage: The funniest (most puzzling) part is that many Japanese (and Chinese, for that matter) wear masks on the regular. To me it kinda proves face diapers won't stop the spread. Of course since common logic is out the window now, I guess herd immunity is still out of the question?
