"Holy Land" does what "Holy Land" is. Let that blood flow.

If you look at the Mosques of Jerusalem, it's clear that they are basically repurposed Roman and Medieval churches. For example; Al Aqsa, Dome of the Rock, etc. People think that the Jerusalem of the Bible is still in existence, they don't realise that that city was completely destroyed by the Romans, and that a new city called Aelia Capitolina was built. This was a Roman city. Modern day Jerusalem is a Roman city; it has zero connection with the 'Jews'. Literally, zero.

The majority were genocided, and those that survived were not allowed enter Aelia. The Jerusalem of today, they don't even know what the ancient city even looked like. They have an idea, based on Josephus's account, but they have no real clue about what the old jerusalem of the bible looked like. No maps, no nothing. It's all based on secondary sources and hearsay. Most of them still think the old temple is on the temple mount complex. This temple mount complex is more likely to be the site of the Antonia fortress, which defended the city during the time of the 70AD war. Again, Josephus is the only account.

'The Jerusalem of today, they don't even know what the ancient city even looked like'. Of course they do...sort of...well, there are those fragments of walls everyone in the area continue to hold with high regard. A wall of rocks. In the desert. A point of contention. The stoopid is indeed strong in the area.

I stidied Roman architecture for several years before caring to look upon the Dome of the Rock (my disinterest in that area was more involved back then, particularly due to the politics and religion). I found it...troubling...how proud a steward of the site was (when it was being renovated), going so far as explaining the history of the...'presumed resting place of Jebuz' had gone through centuries of abuse and measures to prevent abuse, thus the numerous overlays with rock from different eras. No mention of Roman architecture, neither by him, nor the NY Times reporter whom wrote the article. Other Media outlets that covered both the years-long planning and the report of the completion of the restoration also omitted any reference to Roman architecture. Nevermind that when I was quite young, and had taken but an initial, passing interest in the art, could easily note design cues exclusively Roman. I find 'rewriting' of any history abhorrent. That such obvious a history is 'conveniently omitted' is intellectually dishonest, if not repugnant.

@anonmachina: think the dome of the rock is an early Christian church, repurposed by the Arabs..

@Mgtow_economics: Nope that's false.. The Dome of the rock has been built there by muslims. Because there's a cave underneath, but not only that 600 years ago prophet Mohammed stood on a rock there, when God sent him tha angel Gabriel to explain him what he had to do (Create the quran and to write everything the Angel said to him, god commendments).. Then in 685 they constructed the Dome above that rock and cave.. And it became the third holliest place for muslims after Mecca and Medina.. In the Quran they explain that at the end of times water will come out that cave and flood Jerusalem..

The Holy Land must be disappeared from geography in order for peace to ever be again possible between nations. Literally, the place must be sunk under the Mediterranean. Every inch of it needs to be sunk, up to the mountains of Jordan.

The U.S., being so infiltrated, will commit to recovering the area, stone block by stone block if necessary. The sellout houseplants at that level will ensure it be done....unless someone brings a lawnmower.
