I started working in a tech field about 15 years ago that has a large representation of asians in it. My experience led me to conclude that asian women are currently the best option. I was treated far better by them by an order of magnitude than by all other shades of women. That by no means is a blanket approval of all of them nor a recommendation. They can be very materialistic and they do indeed expect their men to be high achievers. This seems to be most prevalent in Japan and becomes less obvious down through Korea, China and then SE Asia.

The real downside of a relationship with a Jap woman, is that that Jap woman will expect you to be a man slave to her, working for her for decades of your life. Jap gender roles are decades behind the west. Fluffie values are deeply ingrained in Jap women's gender expectations of a man. In Japan, the husbands overwork, and the wives play tennis.

1:00. While stationed in Hawaii in the '70s, and deployed to Japan and the Philippines in the early '80s, I met guys who after Vietnam, decided to stay and live overseas. Had more peace of mind, and met more traditional women overseas. Today, can't blame them.
