@DutchCobbler: In the 70s disco was a big thing for about 3 years - The difference in those days all your friends knew what the plan was - ( We go -we see fine chick - we ask her to dance and we dance like shit - But she liked that you had the guts to ask her - you date for a week/month women had a code then they did not want to look like a slut/ whore . because if she had a reputation she could not get a real Good boy friend. and if a chick slept with you she kept it on the downlow . And as for the coke head crowd they were the losers and that was a bigger thing in the 80s . Most of the kids in the 70s Disco days were 15 - 17 years old ! 10 years latter we were 25-27 and working hard Buying houses getting married having Kids . It's just the way it was ! - Things have Changed A Lot in 40 Years ! And not for the Better .

@Bagoodman: I hear you, I was born in the 70s, grew up in the tail end of that tacky era. I think that except for fringe elements, women were more fun back in the 80s, but being among younger people probably also had a lot to do with it (and where I grew up). The 50s were a fluke because of the war induced man drought and people pulling together because we'd been directly attacked. Before the 50s and pretty much since the end of that era they've been the same. Social media and smart phones only magnified their true nature by making small cliques into global ones. The rest falls on simps and orbiters.
