But one city, Oulu in Finland, with winter weather worse than most Canadian cities, shows that winter cycling has nothing to do with the weather, and everything to do with safe cycling infrastructure.

Want to learn more about winter cycling? Every February, the Winter Cycling Federation holds a Winter Cycling Congress where experts and advocates get together and talk about best practices in cycling infrastructure and maintenance. I like it. I had plan to switch to bike or ebike for some travel even to my place of employment for well weight and exercise management.

the best thing about bicycles is that the upkeep cost is near zero. while some parts were replaced and others upgraded, it still has the same frame as when I got it at the end of primary school, and even then it was used, so it's probably 25 years old by now.

then again, I'm biased because I usually get motion sickness from cars.
