I've seen that flicker take place in the eye. My subconscious is like Commander Riker in Star Trek; "Shields Up". Seen it too often that they think abuse is love. Women enjoy the strong Man who will conquer her and it is easy for them to fall into a hunger for abuse. Seeking the strongest Man gets fuzzy to women. Taking that and women can't stand not being chased so the more you hurt her and degrade her the more she is convinced it's love.
