Don't worry about the double chin mate. You remind of my days in the Navy. There was a pub near the shipyard and was one of the last of the all MEN'S pubs. Any woman who came there (very seldom) always stood outside the door to make sure her drunk husband got home and that she got some of the money for food and rent. The bartender looked a lot like you, but had more gray hair, and he was a good bloke.

He'd seen and heard it all. The bar was very very old. You could almost see the ghosts of stevedores, fork lift drivers, warehouse men, and crane operators from the past; coming in after unloading an old break bulk cargo steamer and spending their pay on rum and beer before going home.

Well I have been head down and arse up the last few months in computer land - so the double chin, matches my most excellent man tits and my gut over hanging my belt. NON of this is particularly outstanding. Add in being diabetic, and having early signs of heart failure from being a desk jockey - THEN there is plenty to be concerned about - like going out for some decent exercise TWICE a day... etc.

@Life_N_Times_of_Shane_T_Hanson: You'll have to get rid of the computer job and come work with me. I work in Public Works and get enough exercise outdoors. Even loading and unloading heavy equipment can be a workout! I'm diabetic as well and moving around does help to keep it a bit under control. I still have to take insulin twice a day but, it would be worse if I were stuck behind a desk.
