He didn't give me a topic and I'm just doing this as a bonus video for him. I keep hearing everywhere that young men should go into the trades because college is too expensive these days and it's just an indoctrination camp. I was talking to somebody about this and I mentioned that I went to a polytechnic university which is a combination of theory and practice. I had horrible theory professors in my main field of study but my elective professors were really good. My practical teachers or instructors would come in one or two days a week and then spend the rest of their time working in their companies. It was a good balance because you could get university theory and practical community college experience for the same price which is a great thing. But that polytechnic university I went to it's become a full university and dropped the polytechnic thing. I keep hearing so many Americans complain about high tuitions. If I was in the states instead of paying twenty thousand or more a year in tuition I'd go to Canada to a city like Toronto and get tuition for around 5000$ us dollars per year for an undergrad. That's why there are so many Chinese kids coming into Canada to get their LGBTQLMNOP indoctrination education. I keep hearing that there's a shortage of skilled trades now. But what if in five or ten years there are too many men working in the trades? The cost of labor in the trades will go down and people need to wake up to the fact that that's probably what the elites want and most guys don't realize this. Male and female labor is being separated. Women are being put into the higher education and becoming the majority of the so called intelligencia. Most guys I've spoken with look at education as something that's utilitarian. I keep hearing from men that the only reason to go to university is just to go for stem fields. But university was never about getting job skills and employment. That's more of a recent thing. It was always about enriching your mind and learning about the world and how to think. Wealthy people would finish their schooling and then head to places like Egypt or the South Pacific to learn more about the world and complete their education. It should be about exploration and learning about new ideas that would change your perception of reality. Basically enlightenment. Today it's just indoctrination camp for women and that's why less men are going. It's like the great ideas are being censored but the universities haven't figured out yet that men can use the internet to enlighten themselves. Governments are figuring that out and will soon censor the internet in places like Canada. come on, even a software engineering degree is mostly worthless these days! and I'm not talking about some random college but one of the most prestigious Hungarian universities...

as for trades overflowing, even we have massive blue collar shortages.

I get the impression the man whose not afraid of getting his hands dirty (a trait I don't see as much today; video games much?) won't starve. I also expect bartering, more than crypto, will become more popular, though mostly still underground.

This was the their plan all along. People will be trained to work and not think. They do not want people who can think for themselves. A liberal arts education used to be something. Now, it's just socialist indoctrination. Read the Deliberate dumbing doWn of America.

We can still teach them to think for themselves. In the Trades like the Navy, you still have to solve problems!

Good video Sandman. I disagree. We are heading into a Trades shortage since all the boys from Gen X through Y the Millennials were told to go to college and looked down upon the trades. I too like to write and already finished two or more novels but I need to finish revising them. I had a story in my head since High School; now, since the Left has gone insane, I have a background to write it into... our modern soyciety! Isn't modernity great? NOOooooooooooo....

I think its the same idea as buying the next hot stock. The trades paid little and diplomas paid more so parents said to their kids go to college to earn more. Issue with this is that school+college+masters take a looong time. So that was true when they said it but not so true when they finish studying.
