Of course she's not ready to face the honest criticisms that accompanied her bikini pics. Even Christie Brinkley, when she was 63, in spite of her plastic surgeries, used her daughters as cover in her SI swimsuit spread. No way she'd pull that off on her own without getting the same criticism from viewers.

Men can look distinguished when they get older, because they build and cultivate character and poise. Women simply age. Beauty saves women from negative experience, and character by end result. I’ve never seen a beautiful woman with character. They simply age.

Yeah I agree that beauty, in a general sense, doesn't have to be pretty. A lot of beautiful things are ideas you don't see with your eyes necessarily, like peace. But that's a different type of beauty from physical beauty. They really ought to be separate words entirely. She's totally off base for things like bikini pictures. I wonder what happened to her marriage. No mention of it, probably because it wasn't pretty. But you know what's both beautiful and pretty? Waaaiiiifffuuus
