They have over-valued themselves and many men are done playing 'Price is Right' They will never admit they were wrong and will live lonely lives, complaining about how men 'abandoned' them, as they drain government coffers.
They are worried that there will be nothing to consume, usurp or destroy, in the future, unless they provide those things themselves. Things, for the most part, that they can't provide for anyone, let alone themselves.
It's funny how the 'don't need no men' crowd are so concerned that the men are leaving. It's funnier that they don't see how it exposes the truth of the situation.
