This is awful advice the moment it involves another human being. Forgetting about the big picture while you lift weights is fine. Forgetting about the big picture while you date women, LOL. You might forget about it, but it won't forget about you.

I know people who's lives are a fucking MESS, but rather than resolve that they WILL and DO only talk about the big picture and stuff that won't even impact them, but they cant sort themselves out? All thorough Covid and financial crashes and stuff I have NOT been effected by any of it. Why? because I live my small microcosm life to the best I can. I use Stoicism to deal with problems when or if they arise. I'm fully aware of "the Big Picture", but I never dwell on it and if it comes close then so far to date I've skirted around any impact. there's an old saying - " If you want to be part of the RAT RACE, first you have to be a RAT". the Bigger Picture doesn't apply to one and all, it only effect's those who are either ignorant or want to be part of it. DON'T be a part of it. 90% of what you hear in Media is BULLSHIT, and that is the basis for you to live under? Seek out that 10% truth and start living. It ain't easy at first but the rewards are great. Peace.
